Hoquiam, WA - The city of Hoquiam is looking to hire four new Police Service Officers to staff their jail after a new contract with the Department of Corrections. Hoquiam Police Chief Jeff Myers said not only will the positions staff the jail 24x7 "...it also addresses a need that we've had for some time about records, Candy Wertanen does it all herself. Then once we brought the PSO on, Roy Kinney, his job started as mainly corrections and has morphed into about 50% records."
