Tumwater Woman Arrested for Allegedly Kidnapping Her Niece

Elma, WA - Tumwater Police helped Grays Harbor County Sheriff's detectives bring a 10 year old girl home yesterday, after the girls aunt kidnapped her, according to arrest records.
Chief Criminal Deputy Dave Pimental tells us yesterday afternoon a 32 year old rural Elma resident reported that her sister had stolen her 2002 Kia, and taken her daughter against their will.
Tumwater Police located the car in a Home Depot parking lot, the suspect and her neice were found at a Tumwater home. The 34 year old woman was arrested on kidnapping and other charges. The 10 year old was returned to her home on the Elma-Hinklen road yesterday evening.
