Ocean Shores Stabbing Victim Arrested on Allegations of Child Molestation

Ocean Shores, WA - The Victim of a Tuesday stabbing attack in Ocean Shores has been arrested for First Degree Child Molestation. Deputy Police Chief Russ Fitz with the Ocean Shores police department tells us 31 year old Jose Moises Segovia was arrested after Ocean Shores Police investigated a report that Segovia had allegedly molested a 4 year old, female family member. Ocean Shores Police obtained an arrest warrant for Segovia on August 2nd and he was arrested at the Ocean Shores Police Department on Thursday afternoon.

GriffinThe suspect in the Tuesday stabbing attack remains at large, identified as 23 year old James Lemar Griffin. 

Fitz tells us when Segovia answered his front door tuesday evening, Griffin allegedly sprayed an unknown chemical in the man's face and cut his throat before fleeing the scene.

An arrest warrant for Assault 1st Degree has been issued for Griffin, described as a black male, 6’2” tall and weighing 225 pounds. Fitz said it is believed that Griffin fled the harbor.
