Bella Blood Drive at Westport Winery

It’s time to make your reservation for Westport Winery’s next Bella Blood Drive on Friday, August 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The winery will accept reservations for up to three donors every 15 minutes during this time frame. Free refreshments will be provided to donors.

Erin Klinebriel Stein of the Red Cross said, “We have been on urgent appeal and local blood supplies are critically low this summer. We are hoping that your network of patrons and business partners will once again step forward in order to make this blood drive a success.

Those who elect to give blood will be offered a bottle of Bella at half price. Twilight-inspired T-shirts that read “A glass a day keeps the vampires away” will be available to purchase at half price for donors. So sign up today to give the gift of life for the New Year. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Bella benefits the Mt. Rainier Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Basic donor criteria are available at redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-866-236-3276. Blood donors can donate every 56 days.

Be sure to visit Westport Winery for appetizers, lunch, dinner, desserts, or drinks at the Farm to Fork restaurant daily from 11a.m. to 4p.m. For dinner be sure to make reservations on Friday and Saturday evenings from 4pm to 8pm. Remember, at Westport Winery, food is fresh, local, healthy, homemade, and simply the best.
