OCEAN SHORES, Wash. - Police are looking for the acquaintance of a man who's throat was cut when he answered his front door in Ocean Shores yesterday.
Deputy Police Chief Russ Fitz tells KBKW, officers were called to the man's home in the 500 block of Duck Lake Drive around 6:30 last night. Fitz said a 31 year old resident told officers that when he answered his front door yesterday evening, an acquaintance sprayed an unknown chemical in his face and cut his throat before fleeing the scene.
The victim was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital and later airlifted to Harborview Hospital in Seattle where he is listed in stable condition. The attacker currently is not in custody and the investigation is continuing.
