Re-striping in Aberdeen and Hoquiam Wednesday

Aberdeen, WA - The Washington State Department of Transportation will be re-striping the fog lines & center lines through all of Aberdeen and Hoquiam tomorrow. Drivers are urged not to park along All state routes through Aberdeen and Hoquiam, 101, 105, and Highway 12 on Wednesday. In Hoquiam, this includes Sumner, Simpson, Lincoln and Perry. Aberdeen includes Boone, Wishkah, Heron, Alder, SW Blvd, and Park.

State street is closed today in Aberdeen, with no thru traffic allowed from Park street to the bridge, Scott Olson from the Sign Shop tells us the city will try to keep as many side streets open as possible. Olson said the goal is to keep the larger trucks off the route for the week, as crews complete prep work on State st. for an overlay to be installed later this summer.
