Greater Grays Harbor Inc. to Restart Monthly Business Forum

Aberdeen, WA - Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. is pleased to announce it is restarting its monthly Business Forum series. Every fourth Tuesday of the month, excepting November and December, from 11:30 to 1 p.m., GGHI will present a speaker at the Aberdeen Elks on South Boone Street.

The first program, Jane Benson of the Washington State Employee Assistance Program speaking on “Cross-generational communication in the workplace” will be held on July 24. A well-known presenter in the world of state workers, Mikel Michener, WorkSource Co-manager, secured her as a speaker as part of a larger partnership with GGHI.

GGHI also recently formed a partnership with Impact Washington, a non-profit group that aims to promote and assist Washington State manufacturing. That group will also contribute topics and speakers at future Business Forums.

“We knew that this was a program that some members were very interested in,” said Tim Gibbs, GGHI CEO. “WorkSource has access to a wealth of experts, and Impact Washington itself has a lot of expertise on topics that are relevant to Grays Harbor’s business community. We are glad to have them both as partners.”

Business Forums include lunch, and will cost $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Registration is required the Friday before the fourth Tuesday. Call 532-1924 or email angela@graysharbor.org to register.
