Prosecutors say a 16-year-old boy accused of fatally stabbing an Aberdeen man has been charged as an adult with second-degree murder.

Bail was set at $500,000 Monday, the teen is accused of stabbing 22-year-old Jon Favro early Saturday in Hoquiam, after an argument about a young woman.
When interviewed by officers on Saturday, the 16 year old Aberdeen resident admitted to his involvement.
Detective Srgt Shane Krohn tells us officers and detectives processed multiple scenes and found significant evidence which was consistent with the 16 year olds admission.

The state Corrections Department says Favro was a corrections officer who worked at the state prison in Shelton.
