State Patrol Responds to Accident on Highway 12

Montesano, WA- Traffic was reduced to one-lane alternating in the Eastbound lanes of Highway 12 yesterday afternoon near the Wynochee River bridge in Montesano, after the Washington State Patrol reports a two vehicle accident blocked the westbound lanes for several hours.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Russ Winger tells us a 1994 Ford truck was rear ended by a 1991 Chevy Prism when it slowed pull to the shoulder. Both drivers and the passengers of the Prism were transported to Community Hospital for various injuries. The driver of the Prism was cited for Following to Closely.
