Hoquiam Police Return Wallet Left at Scene of Burglary, Arrest Owner

Hoquiam, WA - A burglar apparently left his wallet at the scene of the crime Monday morning, Hoquiam officers were happy to return it, and offer a night's stay for burglary in the second degree. The 19 year old told officers that red and blue lights from a nearby traffic stop spooked him while on the third floor of a building in the 700 block of Simpson avenue in Downtown Hoquiam.
Hoquiam Police Chief Jeff Myers tells us items stolen included clothing, movies, comic books and magazines. A juvenile found with the suspect was taken into custody on minor in possession charges, an 18 year old Hoquiam man was also implicated and arrested on related charges.
