Traffic Stop Nets Meth Arrest

Raymond, WA. - On June 4th, 2012 Pacific County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on State Route 101 in the Raymond area. The vehicle was detained for a few minor traffic violations. Upon contacting the driver of the vehicle, deputies discovered that the driver was uninsured and his privileges to drive in the state of Washington were suspended.

Deputies identified the driver as Patrick Tiekamp, age 41, of Raymond. Tiekamp was placed under arrest by the deputies. Upon searching Tiekamp’s person incident to arrest, deputies discovered a container with a white crystal like substance inside of it. The substance was tested and presumed to be methamphetamine. Tiekamp was transported to the Pacific County Jail for booking on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Driving While License Suspended.
