Stolen Bass Guitar Recovered in Ocean Shores

OCEAN SHORES, Wash. - A $2000 bass guitar stolen from the vehicle of former Bad Company bassist Lynn Sorensen has been recovered, after the alleged thief was overheard bragging about the guitar.
Ocean Shores Police Srgt. Grossi said the suspect surrendered the stolen guitar after officers contacted him around 3 this morning. The tipster tells KBKW that the suspect was bragging to friends about the guitar.
While no arrests were made, police have the stolen guitar, and the suspected thief, an Ocean Shores man, is cooperating with the investigation.
Sorensen, former bassist for Bad Company and the Paul Rodgers Band, was staying at the Ramada Inn when the guitar was reported stolen from his vehicle over the weekend.
Sorensen was in town with Spike and the Impalers for a concert at the D&R Theatre Saturday night.
