JC Penny's Store Break-in Over The Weekend

Posted by David Haviland on April 10, 2012 at 3:38 am (432 social interactions)

ABERDEEN, Wash. - Employees spent Saturday cleaning up after a break-in at JC Penny's left glass everywhere from the door to the jewelry department. Captain John Green with the Aberdeen Police department tells us Aberdeen, Cosi, and County units responded quickly to the alarm around 5 Saturday morning at the East end of the SouthShore Mall. Officers located a broken glass door that allowed entry into JC Pennys. The K-9 from the Grays Harbor Sheriffs Office searched the business, no suspects were located. Officers found that some display cases in the jewelry department had been damaged and it appears some jewelry items were stolen. A list of stolen items and related value was being compiled by the store.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Aberdeen Police at 533-3180 or the tip line at 538-4450.
