This upcoming season some great things are happening to the Grays Harbor Raceway in regards to end of the year point funds up for grabs in three of the five regular divisions. The Elma located venue will present point money to drivers who competed in eighty five percent of the races in the 360 Sprints, USRA Modifieds, and Hobby Stocks. With the end of the year point funds we hope that car counts will be up and when car counts are up attendance is up - Nikki Gamell, General Manager of the Grays Harbor Raceway. The 360 Sprints will have a healthy $5,000 point fund to go along with the upcoming season which should attract some attention for pilots in the local and outer areas to try and get a piece of. The United States Racing Association will offer to win $1,500 track championship along with the total $4,675 point fund for the Modifieds for 2012 that is up for grabs. USRA also offers a National point fund worth $29,900 for the top twenty in points and $10,000 to win. The Hobby Stocks will have a $2,000 point fund courtesy Sam Puckett and Tom Hecker of Sam’s Auto Repair located in Tacoma. Sam’s Auto Repair is a locally owned repair shop whether you own a street car, race car, hot rod, or anything else with wheels.
