Aberdeen Assault Sends One to Harborview

Aberdeen, WA - Police are investigating an assault at the Boone street 7-11 early this morning that knocked one man out, and sent him to Harborview with a head injury. Detective Sgt. Art Laur tells us three suspects were reported fleeing the scene at 12:40 this morning, a 21 year old Cosmopolis man was found unconscious by officers. Laur said apparently a verbal altercation had escalated into a fight where the victim was struck and blacked out. Detectives are now looking at surveillance video, attempting to locate the three suspects that remain at large, described as in their late teens and last seen running Northbound on Boone.
