Aberdeen, WA - Over 5200 responses, and over $1-million in losses reported by Aberdeen's Fire Department in 2011. Fire Chief Dave Carlberg tells us his department responded to 392 fires last year, and over 4,000 medical calls. Carlberg also noted a total of 88 documented medical saves.  These are patients who most likely would not have survived without qualified medical intervention by firefighters or paramedics. EMS response time averaged 4 minutes, 17 seconds within the city.
