“All American Buckle-Up Week Begins”

Posted by David Haviland on May 19, 2009 at 5:36 am (551 social interactions)

On May 18, 2009 thru Memorial Day Weekend, Law Enforcement Agencies across the country as a part of a national Combined Accident Reduction Effort (C.A.R.E.) will join in a combined effort to reduce injury and fatal collisions.

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) will be paying special attention to seat belt/restraint violations, speed, aggressive driving, and DUI's. Washington State has one of the highest seat belt use percentages in the United States. The use of seat belts is one of the most effective ways motorists can reduce injuries and fatalities in motor vehicle collisions.

WSP wants to remind motorists to "Buckle-Up", obey the speed limits, and share the road.
