Log Truck Slides Into Trailer Park Building

Aberdeen, WA - Westbound traffic filtered to 1 lane on the Southside of Aberdeen this morning at Curtis street where a Weyerhaeuser truck loaded with logs slid through the corner and crashed into a trailer park building off of State Highway 101.
Eye witnesses agreed with the truck's driver, who said he wasn't speeding when he attempted to negotiate the icy corner earlier this morning "Lost my steering ability, I wasn't going very [fast] I just drifted."
Aberdeen and County police officers are directing traffic out of the right lane while crews work to remove the logs and get the truck towed from the scene, the Grays Harbor PUD is also working on a pole that was sheered in the collision.
