12 Year Old Admits to Fire That Destroys Elma Home

Elma, WA - A 12 year old girl was booked into Grays Harbor County Juvenile Detention Center after admitting to causing a fire that destroyed her Elma home on Friday.
Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Chief Criminal Deputy Dave Pimental tells us the girl was waiting in front of the home Friday when firefighters arrived around 5pm. Pimental said the girl admitted to investigators that after a dispute with her grandparents, she intentionally started the fire that destroyed the home in the 200 block of Bush Creek road. Pimental said the girl's grandparents and siblings were at the home, no injuries were reported. The girl was charged with Arson in the First Degree.
