Hoquiam School Teacher Arrested

Hoquiam, WA - A 41 year old Hoquiam High School teacher has been arrested this morning over an investigation into his contact with two 12 year old students. Police Chief Jeff Myers tells us the suspect was taken into custody and transferred to the Grays Harbor County Jail. Myers tells us the investigation began yesterday, a search warrant and arrest were served this morning. Two computers were seized, one school property and the other a personal computer. Hoquiam School Superintendent Mike Parker tells us "the teacher has been placed on administrative leave with pay, and the District is acting in cooperation with the Police Department on this investigation."
