Hoquiam, WA - Officers arrested the "suboxone parents" Friday afternoon after their 1 year old tested positive for multiple drugs in December. Detective Sargent Shane Krohn tells KBKW the judge signed warrants for criminal mistreatment in the second degree on Friday morning.

The parents, aged 24 and 33, admitted to buying the 8 milligram suboxone pill that sickened their youngest daughter on December 4th, and waiting for almost two hours before calling 911.

Krohn tells us Toxicology reports from the state crime lab showed hair samples from the 1 year old tested positive for several controlled substances.  The toddler and two other children remain in Child Protective Services custody.
