Multiple Knives Recovered From Suspect's Home

HOQUIAM, Wash. - A Hoquiam man will have to pick the weapon he reported being attacked with from a lineup of multiple knives recovered from a standoff home in Hoquiam. Police Sargent Jeff Salstrom tells us the standoff began when officers attempted to make contact with the victim's roommate. After the suspect's sister was able to talk him out of the home, Salstrom tells us about 6 other people remained and refused to come out. Once the roommates gave officers permission to search the home 3 more arrests were made for outstanding warrants, and multiple knives were collected as Salstrom said the 23 year old suspect appeared to be a collector.
