Thank you Grays Harbor County, for your continued support of Grays Harbor County Emergency Management. As we approach the holiday season and a new year, here are a few things we are thankful for.
Grays Harbor County Emergency Management is extremely thankful for all of our law enforcement and fire department personnel working throughout the State, County, in every City and Fire District. These dedicated men and women, constantly maintain the highest level of professionalism and dedication, assisting every member of our County, as well as the multitude of visitors to our various communities. They respond to a diverse array of situations on a daily basis, risking their lives protecting individuals, families, homes and pets from peril.
We are thankful for the professionalism and expertise of the 911 personnel and dispatchers from Grays Harbor County E911 and to all emergency medical service personnel and response agencies throughout the County, for their extraordinarily hard work and support this past year. They continue to work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to insure that emergency situations are dispatched and mitigated quickly and efficiently.
We are grateful for the Grays Harbor County Road Crews and Grays Harbor PUD Crews who perform fast, exceptional work, under the most harrowing conditions, to clear roads and restore power, so we may maintain our normal daily routine.
Grays Harbor County Emergency Management is thankful for the many volunteers who assist in their local communities. They are the people we will depend on most, should a disaster event impact the region. Please support them all, as they are the true heroes of our communities.
We are extremely thankful for the Grays Harbor County Amateur Radio Operators and the West Coast Search Dogs for their exceptional dedication, effort and support on a daily basis. Every one is a volunteer and always ready to help. They have never turned down a request for assistance.
We are appreciative for the hard work and outstanding support from our local news papers and reporters, television news media, radio stations, DJ’s and station managers, who broadcast and print the messages our citizens need to prepare and understand any type of severe weather or disaster situation.
Grays Harbor County Emergency Management is very appreciative for the outstanding support we have received from the County Commissioners, mayors, the local elected officials and tribal officials, and to the school superintendents throughout the year. Their support is imperative, allowing us to continue building foundations in communication, education and preparation for our children and every citizen of the County.
Grays Harbor County Emergency Management is most appreciative to our citizens. You have attended numerous community functions we have been a part of and allowed us the opportunity to provide information on preparedness and specific disaster issues. Your enthusiasm and determination for more information continues to propel our efforts.
