SEATTLE, Wash. - The King County Sheriff's Office reports they will begin dispatching the first group of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) equipped patrol units today. Once training is complete there will be 58 cars around King County that can respond to calls where CPR is necessary. King County Dispatch tells KBKW, if officers arrive before dispatched medic units they can use the AED to begin life saving measures immediately. The Dispatch center said "This is another example of police, fire, and medics working together to better care for the citizens of our communities!"
