Bruce Announces Run For Deuce

Montesano, WA - Another hat has been thrown in the ring for the County Commissioner race next year. Westport Mayor Michael Bruce announced exclusively on KBKW this morning that he plans to run for the Commissioner seat held by Mike Wilson, a move facilitated by the redistricting that puts Westport in Wilson's district. "I plan on running for District 2, Commissioner position. There's never been a County Commissioner from the South beach, I think it would be great for the ocean beaches to have representation." Rounding the corner on his eighth year, and beginning his 3rd term as Westport Mayor, Bruce said he wants to see more communication from the county. Aberdeen City Councilman Frank Gordon announced last month that he plans to run for the position as well.
