Grays Harbor County Authorities Search for Missing Woman

Posted by David Haviland on November 10, 2011 at 9:59 am (739 social interactions)

Ocean Shores, WA - The daughter of a missing Grays Harbor woman says Sherry Christy's vehicle was found on Copalis Beach road near langley hill this week with her purse and wallet untouched. County teams plan to search the area again today. The 51 year old is described as 4-11, about 90 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Detective Steve Shumate tells us the last known contact with Sherry was Sunday morning. Christy's husband William is asking for volunteers to help start a grid search on Copalis Beach Road at mile marker number 3.

Langley Hill is also the location of the state's newest Doppler Weather Radar station, installed over the summer.
