Community Mapping Meeting Coming Back to Aberdeen

Posted by David Haviland on November 4, 2011 at 6:30 am (453 social interactions)

Aberdeen, WA - Western Washington residents will get a second chance to attend a Community Mapping Workshop in Aberdeen some time in December. Following a conversation with Aberdeen resident Dan Boeholt, the group said they are hoping to set another Aberdeen meeting in early December. The Pacific Northwest Research Station is holding their next meeting in Quinault on the 15th of this month. The mapping workshops allow residents to highlight areas of the Olympic National Forest that are important to them. Information gathered will be used to make future land management decisions.

If you would like to attend either meeting, coordinators ask that you rsvp to 206-883-5612. An exact date for the December meeting will be announced soon.
