Woman And Child Spared in Home Invasion Assault

Aberdeen, WA - Police are investigating a home invasion on the South side of Aberdeen yesterday morning. Police Captain John Green tells us a 29 year old Aberdeen man sustained injuries to his face and head when two or three males wearing masks reportedly forced entry into a home in the 900 block of Fordney street around 1am. Green tells us a 27 year old woman and a 5 year old girl were also in the home at the time, neither were injured and nothing was reported stolen. The 29 year old man was transported to Community Hospital in serious condition.
