Inmate Shooting Locks Down Community Hospital, Grays Harbor Health and Rehab

ABERDEEN, Wash. - Community Hospital went into lockdown around 2:30 this afternoon when one source tells us a county prisoner in the Intensive Care Unit, ripped out his IV and ran from officers. Aberdeen Police said the inmate ran down the hill toward Grays Harbor Health and Rehab, then took one woman hostage in the parking lot. After failing to comply with a Grays Harbor County Deputy to put down a weapon, the inmate was shot in the parking lot. The 40 year old inmate was immediately taken to the Emergency Room where responders were unable to resucitiate him.
