South Bend, WA - Spike strips finally brought a 71 mile car chase to an end in Pacific County Friday night. Sheriff Scott Johnson tells us when 39 year old Shea Woodard refused to stop for South Bend police around 11:30, Raymond, State Patrol, and Pacific County officers joined in the pursuit that led officers from South Bend to Ocean Park. Johnson said speeds slowed from 70 to 20 when three of the tires on the woman's 1995 Jeep Wrangler were deflated and shredded North of Long Beach.
