Montesano Water Reservoir Goes Online Soon

Montesano, WA - Public Works crews are close to switching over to Montesano's new water reservoir on Camp Creek Road. Public Works Director Mike Wincewicz said earlier this week "We're getting very near to filling it and cooking it, being able to use it. Probably before November it will be in use."
The 60 by 40 foot tank will replace the primary water reservoir once completed. Montesano borrowed 3.3 million dollars to build the new tank then make repairs to the wooden tank on Sylvia Lake road. Wincewicz said the existing reservoir will be replaced, not repaired as was originally planned.
