Montesano Mulls Fire Chief Position

Montesano, WA - City Officials plan to make a decision on the vacant Montesano Fire Chief position by the next council meeting "since we're not really ready to make a decision tonight, there's time to get feedback. At the next meeting we expect to bring a decision or something."  Mayor Ron Schillinger said earlier this week, they're down to 5 options, including the hire of interim Fire Chief Corey Rux, or the consolidation of the Fire and Police Chief positions, advertising for the open position, or sharing District 2's Chief.
