Hoquiam Looks to Setup RV Park

Hoquiam, WA - Hoquiam would like to welcome campers, near the city's lagoon. Mayor Jack Durney tells us "There's an area right next to the lagoon that faces the bay, it's called Airport road [and] we've improved that quite a bit, we're looking at the potential of having maybe an RV Park kind of setup."
Durney said the strip has a great view, and is right next to Bowerman Basin where the shorebirds come in. As the city nears the completion of the Biosolids removal project nearby, new dikes and roads have added Port property near Bowerman Airfield.
