Attempted Wire Theft Damages Lighting at Sam Benn

Aberdeen, WA - Attempted wire theft at Sam Benn Park has left the tennis court lighting system damaged. Aberdeen Parks Director Karl Harris tells us the would-be thief was not very successful in getting any wiring, they did however damage the PUD service panel and switching gear sometime over the past two weeks. Harris said they do not yet know when the system can be repaired on the city-side.
