Scale Model of Reactor Building May Get Restored

Satsop, WA - A model of what could have been may one day show visitors what almost was a reactor building at the Satsop Nuclear site. Project Manager at Satsop, Joel Rett tells us "We have a model that was built by WPPS for construction aid. We'd like to someday establish some sort of visitor's center so people could see the legacy of the site, not just the industrial park." Rett was a Project Planner for "whoops", and worked with the 2 million dollar model long before computer aided drafting was an option "we used the model to sequence construction activities, location of construction cranes, and [plan] how the work should proceed."
The Grays Harbor PDA Board of Directors heard this week that the crumbling model may soon get restored through the Regional Education Training Center.
