Fishing Vessel Washes Ashore in Ocean Shores

Ocean Shores, WA - A 50 foot commercial fishing vessel ran aground last night in Ocean Shores. Seargent Donald Grossi tells us the captain of the Dare 2 was trying to navigate the bar in foggy conditions when they lost power and drifted ashore around 5:30. Three crew members were rescued off the vessel that Grossi said has now settled in the shifting sand of the Taurus Beach approach, and will be difficult for crews to remove.
