Posted by kbkwon September 20, 2011 at 4:45 am (267 social interactions)
Forks, Wa - The US Forest Service is meeting next month in Forks to ask residents of the Olympic Penninsula what land is important to them. District Ranger Dean Millet tells us on October 11th at the DNR offices in Forks, residents will circle areas of importance on maps. The information will be used by local and federal planners to make land management decisions. Please contact Kelly (206-883-5612) if you are interested in attending. A similar workshop will be held in Quinault at a later date.
