Westport Backs Two Redistricting Options

Westport, WA - The Westport City Council yesterday adopted a resolution supporting options 1 and 4 of the County Auditors redistricting maps. Citing the desire to be included with Grayland South Aberdeen and Cosmopolis, Mayor Michael Bruce said the resolution supports any alternative that maintains a geographically contiguous representation of the South beach. Two other options sought to group Ocean Shores and Westport, a goal that County Auditor Vern Spatz said has carried over for 3 redistrictings.
