Donation Jar Theft Suspect Caught on Tape

Ocean Shores, WA - Desperate times and desperate measures aside, Ocean Shores residents are reporting a rise in petty theft of tip jars and in at least one incident, a donation jar for Maycee, the Ocean Shores girl who swallowed a thumb tack in April. Deputy Chief Russ Fitts tells us they are investigating several incidents including tip jars from Tully's, Elkhead, and Shores Bowl, as well as the Dugan's Pizza Maycee jar, Fitz said they have video and photos of a couple suspects, but the crimes of opportunity do not appear to be connected.
