Aberdeen Police Investigate Assault

ABERDEEN, Wash. -  Police are looking for a newer white Chevy pickup after a reported assault over the weekend. Captain John Green tells us a woman in the emergency room of Community Hospital reported that the truck pulled alongside her while walking near State and K streets. The woman said she was attacked after declining a ride, pulled into the vehicle, then driven behind the Bakery Outlet on State Street. The victim said she was assaulted and strangled before escaping, an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

The Aberdeen Police Department released an updated suspect description yesterday:

The suspect was described as:
                White Male
                35 to 40 years old
                5-10 to 6 foot
                Around 190 pounds with a slender build.
                Short light brown to dark blond hair
                Clean shaven
                Last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, black tennis shoes.
                Driving a newer white four door pick up, possibly a Chevrolet.
