Aberdeen Running Start Students Ready to Run

Aberdeen, WA - High School students have rearranged their schedules and changed a few plans to work around new legislation on the State's Running Start Program, as Grays Harbor College President Ed Brewster tells us "these are changes limiting the amount of enrollment that a student can be involved in."
Aberdeen School Administrator Tom Opstad tells us students will have to decide to go full time High School, or Full time College; "it's your students that are taking courses at the high school and at the college that exceed what they call 1.2 FTE - any amount over that and the student will have to bear the cost."
Opstad said he doesn't expect a huge impact on Grays Harbor's Running Start students, once they've adjusted their schedules.
