District Maps Offer Fourth Option of Change for Cosmopolis

MONTESANO, Wash. - A fourth district map proposal has come from the County Auditor's office, again, Cosmopolis is booted from District 2. Mayor Vicky Raines tells us Cosi doesn't like any of their options "We're not happy with alternatives 1,2, and 3, and I really don't see any difference with alternative 4."
Westport Mayor Michael Bruce said his council's primary goal was to be in the same district as Grayland. "we don't have any personality preferences when it comes to commissioners, we just want to make sure the south beach is one unit." Both option numbers one and four would move Westport into District 2 with Grayland.
A final decision has to be approved by the County Commissioners by December 8th, in order to complete the process by the end of the year.
