Aberdeen, WA - Multiple agencies responded to a wildland brush fire along the Westport highway Friday afternoon. Battalion Chief Bill Main tells us "It may have been caused by a car that had some piece of debris hanging from it that was causing sparks." Investigators discovered multiple small fires along 105 from the Bishop Complex past the Nishkah River. The State Patrol directed traffic for almost an hour as DNR crews completed the cleanup.
