Aberdeen, WA - The Aberdeen Art Commission is moving forward on the Weatherwax Memorial project, the location decided on this week was the Simpson Triangle at Simpson and Division street, the former location of the Aberdeen Dough Boy. Next steps are to select a panel to review proposals for the artwork to include sandstone from the former Weatherwax School, which was destroyed by fire nine years ago.
