Running Start Students Told To Walk

Aberdeen, WA - Legislative changes this year could slip the bill in to the pockets of running start students for classes they've already signed up for. Grays Harbor College President Ed Brewster tells us "These are changes limiting the amount of enrollment that a student can be involved in. We wat to be able to talk with parents about that because we have a lot of running start students enrolled right now."
Brewster said while students can go over those limits, they will have to pay for the extra classes, some students may need to rethink their schedule "It all needs to be implemented starting this fall, even though things were already planned and students were already registered."
Parents of affected students in Grays Harbor have been sent notification on a meeting next week to go over their options.
