Showcase Grays Harbor to Ride The Rails

Hoquiam, WA -Passengers will ride the rails for the first time in 56 years as part of the 12th annual Showcase Grays Harbor. Candie Gleason with the Grays Harbor Economic Development Council said the moving exhibit of local businesses will start from the Hoquiam train depot. Riders will follow the freight route through the Port of Grays Harbor, all the way to Oakville. While the EDC isn't taking reservations yet, Gleason said the tentative date is Friday, September 16th. The Annual tour is a partnership multiple entities withing Grays Harbor including the Port Authority, The Public Development Authority, Grays Harbor Chamber, and the EDC to name a few.
