Weapon Turned Over to Authorities May Be Linked to Shooting

Aberdeen, WA - Investigators may have found the weapon used in a shooting on Arthur street last week. Aberdeen Police Captain John Green tells us a citizen contacted authorities about a handgun found on the Wishkah Bridge, after hearing about last week's shooting incident. Green said the handgun has not been positively linked to last Tuesday's shooting that injured a 28 year old woman. Aberdeen detectives are making arrangements to send the handgun and other evidence located at the crime scene to the state crime lab for comparison and additional processing.
