Human Remains Discovered in Grays Harbor County

Humptulips, WA - The Grays Harbor County Sheriff's Department is investigating a body that was recovered from the Humptulips area over the weekend, Friday afternoon brush pickers discovered the remains 3.5 miles off the East Humptulips road. Detectives found the man wearing hunting gear, with no identification, and no vehicles or camp sites nearby. The Hoquiam Police Department said it may be the body of Ronald Thorton, a 51 year old reported missing in January. The Sheriff's Department said they hope to have a positive identification later today.
