St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run in Hoquiam

Hoquiam, WA - The City of Hoquiam will be sponsoring a  St. Patty’s Day Fun Run with a 2 Mile Walk, 2 Mile Run and 5K Run being offered.  The run will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2011 with registration from 10:30 to 11:30 and the races beginning promptly at 11:45.  Registration will be held at the 8^th St. Landing located at the corner of 8^th and Levee in downtown Hoquiam.  The races will traverse the downtown area and cross Simpson Bridge, travel along the Riverside Dike and end back at the landing.  Cost is $10.00 without a t-shirt and $15.00 with a t-shirt.  EVERYONE is encouraged to participate as part of our Healthy Hoquiam Lifestyle program.  For information contact Tracy Wood at  twood@cityofhoquiam.com or by calling 360-637-6040.  Local merchants will be offering discounts for race participants.
