Aberdeen Shooting Suspect Sought

Aberdeen, WA - The Aberdeen Police Department is still searching for a suspect involved in a shooting near Mac's Tavern on W Heron street around 10:30 last night.

Officers believe two victims were in town as contract workers for Cosmo Specialty Fibers, both wounded when the shooting took place. A 26 year old Vancouver man was treated and released from Community Hospital, the second man, a 31 year old from The Dalles was transferred to an out of town  hospital.

A 30 year old Aberdeen Transient is in custody, Captain John Green tells us 39 year old Michael Austin Kerby is being sought as a suspect, described as 6 foot 5, weighing 210 pounds with a large tattoo on the left side of his neck, he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Aberdeen Police Department at 538-4450
